Updated Version - a little less buggy
Hey gang,
I'm still working my way up to the fleshed out demo but have realised that there were a few bugs that made what I have put out here rather unplayable.
Missing audio files have been replaced, hopefully there are no more sneaky ones. If you do find any please let me know!
Various things have been updated to a degree, some skills, better level 1 maps, tweaked enemy stats (they won't hit as hard).
The healing skill will now always heal instead of just a chance to heal, and it heals for more (35% of max hp).
I've increased the amount of essence you get from breaking down gear, so leveling up and creating items should be a little easier between runs.
Things are still far from complete, but this should hopefully be a much more playable (and hopefully enjoyable) experience.
Thanks to everyone who has played so far and especially those who have provided feedback.
Special shout out to Karter who will be sharing a recording of his play test on his channel, his feedback has been very helpful and been used to produce some of the changes you'll see in the game, go check his stuff out!

I am not planning on updating the game here any further as my next update will be the demo.
Peace,
- Phil

Nice update! Will be excited to see how combat feels when more complex enemy behavior is implemented.
What do you hope the enemy combat will be like?
I'm interested to see what you think of, but for a roguelike I imagine enemies to be deadly but with glaring weaknesses that a skillful player learns to exploit, such as an enemy that deals a large amount of physical damage each turn but is weak to accuracy/evasion changes from the player
